Raw Home Studio Recordings
Guitar Sessions & Live Recordings
Spontaneous, unplanned guitar sessions captured in a home studio environment —
raw, imperfect and left as they happened.
About These Sessions
These recordings are spontaneous and unplanned guitar sessions created in a home studio environment.
They are not intended as professional studio productions, but rather as raw and authentic captures of
ideas, moods, and improvisation.
All sessions are recorded in the moment, without extensive editing.
The goal is to preserve the natural sound, imperfections, and atmosphere as they happen,
offering a more honest and direct listening experience.
Sound quality may vary between sessions, as each recording reflects the conditions,
equipment, and creative decisions at that specific moment.
Session Fender – Clean Guitar Tone
This guitar session explores clean tones using a Fender-style setup,
focusing on clarity, dynamics, and expressive playing. The sound emphasizes
bright, transparent tones that respond naturally to picking intensity.
The guitar was recorded using a Spark 40 amplifier, allowing precise tone shaping
and modern amp modeling. The signal was captured through a Steinberg UR22C audio interface,
ensuring high-quality recording with low latency.
Subtle modulation effects such as flanger were applied to add movement and depth,
enhancing the clean tone without overpowering its natural character.
Rhythmic elements were created using an Alesis electronic drum kit (mesh),
providing tight and controlled percussion.
All tracks were recorded and processed in Cubase 14, enabling detailed control over
mixing, dynamics, and spatial effects. This session highlights the versatility of
clean guitar tones in modern home studio production.
Session Les Paul Studio – Distortion Guitar Tone
This guitar session explores rich distortion tones using a Gibson Les Paul Studio setup.
The recording focuses on powerful sustain, dynamic response, and expressive lead playing,
making it ideal for rock and modern guitar styles.
The guitar was recorded using a Spark 40 amplifier, known for its versatile tone shaping
and modern amp modeling capabilities. The signal was captured through a Steinberg UR22C
audio interface, ensuring high-quality audio conversion and low-latency recording.
Rhythmic elements were created using an Alesis electronic drum kit (mesh kit),
providing tight, controlled drum sounds suitable for modern production environments.
The combination of guitar and electronic drums allows for precise timing and flexible sound design.
All tracks were recorded and processed in Cubase 14, allowing precise control over tone,
dynamics, and post-processing. Subtle modulation effects and careful gain staging were used
to create a warm yet aggressive distortion sound with clarity and definition.
This session highlights the versatility of the Les Paul design, delivering thick,
harmonically rich tones suitable for both rhythm and lead guitar applications.
Session Ibanez S – Heavy Guitar Tone (Lamb of God Style)
This guitar session explores heavy, aggressive tones inspired by the modern metal sound
of bands like Lamb of God. Using an Ibanez S guitar, the focus is on tight rhythm playing,
fast attack, and precise articulation, making it ideal for metal and high-gain styles.
The guitar was recorded using a Spark 40 amplifier, allowing detailed tone shaping
and modern high-gain amp modeling. The signal was captured through a Steinberg UR22C
audio interface, ensuring high-quality recording with low latency and clear definition.
Rhythmic elements were created using an Alesis electronic drum kit (mesh),
providing punchy and controlled drum sounds that complement the aggressive guitar tone.
The combination delivers a tight, modern metal production.
All tracks were recorded and processed in Cubase 14, enabling precise control over
distortion, EQ, and dynamics. The result is a powerful, saturated guitar tone with strong
low-end response and clear mids, suitable for modern metal and heavy rock.
Session Fender – Melancholic Clean Guitar Tone
This guitar session explores melancholic clean tones using a Fender-style setup.
The focus is on emotional expression, soft dynamics, and atmospheric playing,
creating a reflective and ambient sound character.
The guitar was recorded using a Spark 40 amplifier, allowing detailed tone shaping
and clean amp modeling. The signal was captured through a Steinberg UR22C audio interface,
ensuring high-quality recording with clarity and low noise.
Subtle effects such as reverb and light modulation were used to enhance depth and space,
while maintaining the natural tone of the instrument. Rhythmic elements were created using
an Alesis electronic drum kit (mesh), providing gentle and controlled percussion that
supports the melancholic mood.
All tracks were recorded and processed in Cubase 14, enabling precise control over dynamics,
spatial effects, and mixing. This session highlights the expressive potential of clean guitar
tones in modern home studio production.
Session Fender – Clean Guitar with Wah-Wah (Morley Style)
This guitar session explores expressive clean tones using a Fender-style setup,
combined with a wah-wah effect to add movement and character. The focus is on
dynamic phrasing and subtle tonal variation, creating a groove-oriented and
slightly funky sound.
The guitar was recorded using a Spark 40 amplifier, allowing detailed tone shaping
and clean amp modeling. A Morley-style wah-wah effect was used in the background
to create smooth filter sweeps and rhythmic expression without dominating the mix.
The signal was captured through a Steinberg UR22C audio interface, ensuring
high-quality recording with clarity and low noise. Rhythmic elements were created
using an Alesis electronic drum kit (mesh), providing tight and controlled percussion
to support the groove.
All tracks were recorded and processed in Cubase 14, enabling precise control over
dynamics, modulation, and spatial effects. This session highlights the versatility
of clean guitar tones enhanced with wah-wah for expressive and modern playing styles.
Session Fender & Ibanez Bass – Slow Distortion Guitar with Final Solo
This session combines a Fender-style guitar with an Ibanez bass guitar to create a slow,
atmospheric arrangement with a strong rhythmic foundation. The focus is on a deep groove,
gradual build-up, and expressive lead playing.
The distorted guitar tone develops slowly, starting with a minimal structure and evolving
into a more powerful and saturated sound. A melodic solo section at the end adds emotional
intensity and completes the composition.
The guitars were recorded using a Spark 40 amplifier, allowing flexible tone shaping
for both clean and distorted sounds. The signal was captured through a Steinberg UR22C
audio interface, ensuring high-quality recording with clarity and precision.
The Ibanez bass provides a solid low-end foundation, supporting the slow tempo and enhancing
the overall depth of the mix. Additional rhythmic elements were created using an Alesis
electronic drum kit (mesh), delivering controlled and consistent percussion.
All tracks were recorded and processed in Cubase 14, enabling detailed control over dynamics,
layering, and mixing. This session highlights the interaction between bass and guitar in a
slow, evolving arrangement with a strong focus on atmosphere and tone.
